I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, having earned my Master of Science degree in 2007 from an accredited program at Colorado State University.
I began my career in the community mental health field doing a variety of out-patient and intensive in-home therapy with youth and their families. I worked in several agency non-profits, first in Northern Colorado and later Tacoma Washington, where I focused primarily on trauma and PTSD.
In 2014 I moved exclusively to private practice in Puyallup WA. I hold licenses to practice therapy in both Washington and Colorado.
I specialize in working with clients ages 12+ impacted by trauma, PTSD and survivors of Domestic Violence.
I also offer supervision for those seeking their independent state licensure and consultation to those already licensed.
Evidenced Based Trauma Therapy
What is Trauma?
"We become traumatized when our ability to respond to a perceived threat is in some way overwhelmed. This inability to adequately respond can impact us in obvious ways, as well as ways that are subtle.”
― Peter A. Levine, Healing Trauma: A Pioneering Program for Restoring the Wisdom of Your Body

Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret.
